Paris Fury: Baby news, mum-of-7, wife of Tyson Fury – How Does She Do It? | Five Fabulous Minutes

She had her first baby at just 20, but that doesn’t mean Paris Fury wants any of her own kids to follow tradition and start a family young.

Paris, who at the time of going to press was just about to give birth to her seventh child with boxing-champ husband Tyson Fury, insists: “The children have got to choose their own path. Their heritage is a Gypsy background, so it’s normal to be married and have kids young. But if they don’t choose that, that’s up to them. Everybody’s situation is different, but I’ve never, ever looked at having children young as a hindrance. It was something I always wanted and planned.”

Which is lucky, given she will imminently have her hands full caring for her newest arrival, alongside Venezuela, 13, Prince John James, 11, Prince Tyson II, seven, Valencia, five, Prince Adonis, four, and two-year-old Athena, whose start to life was tumultuous after spending days in intensive care on a ventilator following her birth in August 2021.

Having previously said the traumatic experience with Athena – whose heart stopped beating at one point – made her apprehensive about having more children, it was a surprise when Tyson announced in March that Paris, 33, was expecting again.

She says: “After Athena was born, I did think that maybe we wouldn’t bother again, but then I knewI wanted another one. You can never say never.”

Paris, who in person is funny, good-natured and incredibly grounded, recently made headlines when she revealed she had pulled Venezuela and Prince John James out of school, choosing instead to have them homeschooled by a tutor – which is the traditional Traveller way.

Writing in her new book, How Does She Do It?, she said: “When I was 11 years old, I made the decision to stay at home with Mam rather than continue on to high school.

“So, by choosing to stay at home instead of going to school, kids like me were given plenty of time to be taught practical skills by our elders, like how to cook a meal or change a tyre, or how to replace a broken wall tile or polish the family silver.

“Choosing home over school in your early-to-mid-teens is still seen as controversial by many in the wider world – many times on Loose Women I’ve had to argue my case for leapfrogging secondary education, but speaking from personal experience, I think it makes total sense.“
