Hogwarts Legacy: E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Quest Guide
To complete the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre quest from Althea Twiddle in Hogwarts Legacy, players will need to solve a strange statue’s puzzle.
Players can accept the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre quest from Althea Twiddle in Hogwarts Legacy following a conversation about a strange statue near Irondale. Madam Twiddle tells a tale of her late husband’s suspicions regarding the statue’s mysterious relationship with the many vases in the surrounding ruins, requesting that his questions be answered. Madam Twiddle implies that the statue must be activated somehow, and it’s up to players to solve the puzzle. Upon completion, they will be rewarded with XP and a brand-new wand handle.
Puzzles can be found throughout Hogwarts and the regions surrounding the school. While some require specific spells to solve them, such as Herodonia’s puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy, others simply require a bit of legwork. For example, to solve the mysterious statue’s puzzle in the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre quest, players must first discern the relationship the statue has with the countless vases scattered about the ruins. Once this is accomplished, the statue can then be activated.
E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Statue Location
The statue’s ruins are found just outside Irondale, close to an active Jobberknoll den in Hogwarts Legacy. To locate the ruins, players must follow the path South of Irondale until they see the ruins come up on the left, nestled beside the coastline. How To Solve The Statue Puzzle
While players won’t need to use any specific spells to solve the statue’s puzzle in the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre quest, they must interact with each of the vases found in the ruins and find a way to break them, a common prerequisite to solving Merlin Trials in Hogwarts Legacy. The vases can be broken using a basic cast, but other spells will also work as long as the vases are successfully broken. With 20 vases in total, the task at hand is fairly simple, but it can quickly turn tricky if players aren’t sure where to find some of the vases tucked away in ruins. Most can be found out in the open, but other vases will need to be targeted in high places as well as outside the walls of the ruins.
Players can check their mini-map to ensure they are within the correct area to locate the vases. This is indicated by a large, purple circle.
Rewards For Completing The E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre Quest
After completing the E-Vase-Ive Manoeuvre quest, players must return to Althea Twiddle in Irondale to report their findings and receive rewards. Upon hearing the solution to the puzzle, Madam Twiddle expresses deep gratitude for having satisfied her late husband’s wishes, rewarding players with the Column wand handle in Beige. In addition to gaining 180 XP, the ornate wand handle can be equipped by changing the appearance of gear in Hogwarts Legacy.
