February 7th’s Wordle answer yet again features a repeating letter that could stump many players. However, the puzzle can be solved using hints.
February 7th’s Wordle puzzle continues yesterday’s theme of containing a repeating letter and one vowel. However, players have a better chance of solving the puzzle as it is the name of a ubiquitous fruit. While many five-letter fruit names feature a repeating letter, many might still find the puzzle challenging to solve. Since Wordle does not give any additional clues for letters that are being repeated, it often causes players to waste their attempts on random guesses.
To avoid wasting attempts on random guesses, players can use Wordle’s hard mode, as it prevents players from using confirmed letters in random spots. Due to this rule, players are forced to use words that feature confirmed letters in the same spot, forcing players to think of words they normally wouldn’t use. However, if players are short of time and are in a hurry, they can quickly solve today’s puzzle using relevant hints.
Today’s Wordle Hints (February 7th #598)
Many players use hints when they are stuck on their last few attempts and don’t want to sacrifice their daily streak. While these hints do not spoil the answer for players, they do give a fair idea about the solution without ruining the challenge. Here are three clues that will help solve February 7th’s Wordle answer.
a round, edible fruit having a red, green, or yellow skin
the name of the company that makes the iPhone
the fruit that fell on Newton’s head
Today’s Wordle Answer (February 7th #598)
The February 7th Wordle answer is APPLE.
To solve today’s puzzle, players will want to use words that let them discover the correct position of the repeating letter. - Wordle is a web-based word-guessing game developed by Josh Wardle that took the world by storm in 2021. Players are given a five-letter word to guess and have six attempts to get the word correct. When they get a letter correct, it will mark itself as green if it’s in the correct position and yellow if it is the correct letter in the wrong position. A yellow letter also means that letter could appear more than once. Wordle was purchased by The New York Times Company in 2022 and added to their website and app, keeping the core game free to play as promised – with additional words and other bonuses available through subscription, and is available via browser, iOS, and Android.
