In this movie Denzel Washington is working for the government and has been diagnosed with disassociated identity disorder. He does not believe he has D.I.D. He is then accused of killing the president of the United States. He then has to explain his story to the government. The government does not believe his story, so they place him under arrest. He believes he is innocent, so he escapes from prison. And now he is on the run as a fugitive from the government. I basically wanted to create a backstory for the movie Safe House. This is not meant to fool anyone, it is meant to tell a story.
