Akira – Full Movie Review in Hindi | Sonakshi Sinha | Latest Bollywood Movies Reviews 2016
“Akira” is an action drama film, which is the remake of Tamil film “Mouna Guru.” AR Murugadoss has penned screenplay for this Hindi remake. The original movie is male-centric, but the director has made its Bollywood version a female-oriented film. He has made few other changes to suit the taste of the Hindi audience.
The movie revolves around the story of a thoughtful college girl named Akira Sharma, who is engrossed in her studies. She finds himself at the wrong place, wrong time, at every single moment. An isolated incident lands her in a problem with police officers. How she single-handedly takes on four corrupt police officers in a bid to prove her innocence forms the crux of the story.
As protagonist, Sonakshi Sinha has delivered a sterling performance in “Akira” and it’s her career best acting, which is the main highlight of the film. She stuns with her stunts. Akshay Kumar and Raai Laxmi have made cameo appearance, which are among the big attractions of the film. Konkona Sen Sharma, Anurag Kashyap, Teena Singh, Amit Sadh, Urmila Mahanta and Atul Kulkarni are also assets of the movie, say the audience.
Besides direction and editing, AR Murugadoss has jointly produced “Akira” with Fox Star Studios and he has made sure that the film has superb production values. John Stewart Eduri’s background Score, RD Rajasekhar’s cinematography, brilliant choreography of action scenes and Karan Singh Rathore’s dialogue are the big attractions on the technical front, add the audience.
